Eyewear Industry Legend Harvey Ross Invests in T Henri’s Next Chapter of International Growth

Hypercar-inspired independent eyewear house founded by Tyler Henri welcomes investment from veteran eyewear entrepreneur Harvey Ross while maintaining controlled distribution, serialized production and its distinct design identity.
T HENRI, the hypercar-inspired independent eyewear house founded by Tyler Henri, has secured a strategic investment from longtime eyewear entrepreneur Harvey Ross of Ross Holdings as the brand enters its next chapter of international growth.
The investment arrives at a pivotal moment for T HENRI, whose rise has been defined not by ubiquity, but by restraint: Japanese craftsmanship, serialized micro-production and an uncompromising belief that eyewear can exist as a collectible object rather than simply an accessory.
Now represented by more than 300 authorized retailers worldwide, T HENRI has built its momentum through selective distribution and tightly controlled production, typically limited to 199 pieces or fewer per style and colorway. The investment will support continued international expansion without changing that model: distribution will remain selective, production limited and innovation central.
The house was born from Henri’s fascination with the world’s most exceptional automobiles, where rarity is intentional, engineering is visible and collectors scrutinize proportion, material, finish and provenance.
“Collectors don’t compromise on the automobile. They don’t compromise on the timepiece. I’ve always believed eyewear should be held to the same standard,” Henri said. “T HENRI was founded on that principle, to create objects defined by provenance, engineering, rarity and narrative. Eyewear is among the most personal objects we own; it deserves the same level of discernment, intention and permanence.”

Ross first encountered T HENRI while visiting Boca Raton, Florida, where he toured the company’s showroom, met with Henri and saw the collection and operation firsthand.
“I was blown away,” Ross said. “Tyler had created something with a very clear identity. The craftsmanship, engineering and attention to detail stood out immediately. It wasn’t trying to look like everything else in the market.”

“Growth only matters if the identity of the house becomes stronger with it,” Henri said. “We have never built T HENRI around volume for the sake of volume. We have built it around significance—creating fewer, more considered objects, protecting the rarity of each release and building something intended to endure. That philo?sophy does not change as we grow.”
Ross brings more than six decades of experience across eyewear brand development, manufacturing, distribution and optical retail. He founded Viva International Group and today leads OPTYX New York.
That same passion for identifying, encouraging and investing in original design talent led Ross to found the Sergio Cereda Eyewear Design Award, which returns to MIDO | Milano Eyewear Show, the world’s leading international eyewear exhibition, taking place February 6–8, 2027, at Fiera Milano Rho in Milan, Italy. The award recognizes and supports the next generation of eyewear designers. Applications for the 2027 competition are open here.
Henri will continue to lead T HENRI, overseeing its creative direction, design philosophy, operations and brand development.
