SightGlass Vision wins Gold Stevie® Award for Technology Breakthrough of the Year for its DOT™ spectacle lenses for myopia control. Presented in the Healthcare Technology category at the 2026 Stevie® Awards for Technology Excellence, the award was given in recognition of DOT lenses' novel contrast management approach to slowing myopia progression in children, and was described by judges as a “standout healthcare technology innovation.”
The winning entry, titled “DOT Spectacle Lenses Offer a Groundbreaking New Approach to Protecting Children’s Eyesight,” highlighted SightGlass Vision’s landmark clinical research, the rapid adoption of its DOT spectacle lenses, and the company’s continued investment in educating eye care professionals about the potential of contrast management for myopia control.
Among the key achievements highlighted in the entry was new two-year clinical data showing that more than 1D of myopia progression was saved on average after two years among Chinese children aged 6 to 10 who were treated with DOT spectacle lenses.
