VANNI for Oscalito

A collection of sunglasses born from the collaboration between VANNI, the creative eyewear Italian brand, and Oscalito, a fine weaver of high-quality underwear and knitwear.

Two Turin-based brands with a history deeply rooted in the region’s industrial tradition, designed in Turin and produced with care and love in Italy.

The sunglasses are crafted from VANNI’s exclusive cellulose acetate and bear names dear to the people of Turin: Dora, Aurora and Valentine.

VANNI Colours Collection – Mixed-material frames - V4143

This collection is characterised by a harmonious interplay between acetate and metal. A dialogue established between the two materials: a contrast in terms of characteristics and aesthetics, yet a perfect match in terms of weightlessness and comfort. The frame structure is made of flexible steel, with a significant tapering at the front rims that allows for the acetate element to be fitted. At 4mm thick, the acetate insert minimises waste and embodies the concept of responsible design. The outline of the perfect circle breaks up to create an asymmetrical, enveloping effect.

VANNI Spirit collection - V3222

A frame that embodies the essence of the VANNI style, combining exclusive blue DAMA acetate with solid black, featuring a pronounced rim effect that is softened by the iridescent and luminous tones of the mother-of-pearl pattern. The shape is wide and balanced – feminine yet full of personality.

VANNI UOMO – V2177

Masculine elegance is given free rein in this VANNI Men’s eyewear collection. Acetate forms the base, much like a sculptural block, from which material is removed to incorporate two stripes of lacquer along the upper edge of the front and on the temples. These are distinctive yet understated features, brought to the surface through a double milling process. What really stands out is the three-dimensional effect of the lacquer, which, when in motion, conveys a sporty and dynamic look.

VANNI Petite - M173

A celebration of feminine delicacy and elegance, VANNI’s Petite collection returns with a reimagined acetate design, created specifically for those with small faces who deserve a frame with perfect proportions.

The frames, crafted from multi-layered acetate, feature a unique finish: through a milling process, the outer part of the rim is removed to create a ‘frame’ for the lens. This process reveals the second layer of acetate, creating a dual play of colours and a three-dimensional effect in the frame.
