Transe Vision Care, a leading provider of Optical spectacle lenses has collaborated with Netrakumbh for serving the needy with the power of vision. Transe played a pivotal role in Netrakumbh by providing free glasses to all the patients in need.
On an average daily distribution of free glasses is near about 4000 nos. that includes single vision lenses, bifocal lenses, and power-by-power lenses. Transe provided patients with simple reading needs, ready readers, while those requiring higher prescriptions was given customized solutions for their glasses.
In addition to this, in order to make patients more aware about various eye conditions & diseases a complete informative layout is done at the venue for patients to read and apply in their day-to-day life.
Since its inception in 2019 Netrakumbh had always garnered a lot of people who are in need of glasses to simplify their vision needs. Year 2025 is no different and from 06th Jan. 2025 onwards, patients have lined up to get themselves checked and take the glasses, if prescribed.
On an average daily the OPD had crossed over 6000 mark and during peak days it has crossed even 8000-9000 mark.
