 Record-breaking 2200-sq.ft spectacles formation

Record-breaking 2200-sq.ft spectacles formation at Elliot’s Beach to commemorate World Sight Day 2023: In an early commemoration of World Sight Day 2023, over 400 optometry students and professionals formed a large 2200 sq ft pair of human spectacles to create a world record.

In a collaboration between India Vision Institute and Dr Agarwals Institute of Optometry, the human image of a pair of eyeglasses at Chennai’s Elliot's Beach served to create awareness on correcting refractive errors and how a pair of spectacles can help to correct vision.
